Qualfy vs Notion + Claude
It's the repository most product teams build first: the transcripts go in Notion, the questions go to Claude, and for a while it works. Notion's AI answers over your pages and cites them. Claude reads whatever you put in a Project and answers anything. Two separate products, both good at reading. What neither does is get the next interview onto the calendar — or tell you, with a number, when the folder doesn't hold the answer.
The same question, asked of the same nine interviews
“Where do new users get stuck during onboarding?”
Claude, over a folder of transcripts
“Onboarding came up repeatedly. Most participants hit some friction in their first session, with data import mentioned by several and initial setup by a few more. It reads as a consistent pain point.”Fluent, and possibly right. Which files said it, and how many, is yours to check — nothing in the app verifies that a quote is in a file.
Anthropic's citations feature lives in its developer API, where you build it in. In the app, over a Project, the answer is as grounded as the model decides to be.
Qualfy
3 of 9 interviews mention getting stuck during onboarding123. All three stalled at the data-import step, not at creating the account. The other six didn't raise onboarding at all.
“Sign-up was fine. Then it wanted a CSV in a format I'd never seen, and I couldn't tell what it was asking for.”
“I closed the tab at the import screen. Came back two days later when a teammate said you could skip it.”
“The import page looked like it needed admin rights, so I pinged IT before I'd click anything.”
A number you can put on a slide: three quotes, three timestamps, and six interviews that didn't say it.
About Claude and a folder
Keep Claude. Point it at Qualfy.
Claude and ChatGPT are better generalists than our chat, and you should keep them. A Project holding a folder of transcripts is a genuinely good reader: it will summarize, compare, draft the slide, and remember the interview you forgot you ran. Notion's Q&A does the same over your pages, and by its own guide it always cites its sources.
Two things a folder can't do. The first is say no. A general model instructed to answer from your files usually does, and nothing makes it stop when the files run out; the citation Notion gives you points at a page, which is why one product manager in our research said it “sometimes takes me to the general area,” and the quote Claude gives you is not checked against the file by anything. Nobody publishes how often either is wrong, including us about them. The second is fill itself. Every transcript in the folder got there because someone booked a call, recorded it, and moved the file — the part of the job that takes weeks, not minutes.
That's why every Qualfy plan ships an MCP server. Ask about your interviews from Claude, and the answer comes back the way Qualfy gives it: cited to the moment in the transcript, with a count, or “your research doesn't answer this.” Keep the assistant you like; change what it's reading.
Where each one starts
Notion and Claude start once the transcript is in the folder. Qualfy fills the folder.
Notion's AI Meeting Notes capture a call from your own device on the Business and Enterprise plans, and Q&A answers over your pages. Claude's Projects hold the files you upload, on every plan. Neither product recruits, screens or books anybody, and neither claims to; the grid shows where each one starts.

Filled means the product does the stage fully. Outlined means part of it. Dashed means it isn't offered.
“Partial” means part of the job. Notion's Meeting Notes record the audio your device hears — all sides of a video call, with no bot — on Business and Enterprise, up to ten hours a day per user. Claude's app answers over the files in a Project; Anthropic's citations feature is in its developer API, not the app.
Trust
Neither publishes an accuracy number for answers over your files. Qualfy does.
We make no claim about Notion AI's or Claude's accuracy over your transcripts — neither publishes a number, and we can't measure it for them. We can measure ours, and these numbers are checked before every release; if one slips, the release doesn't ship. That includes the last one: a system that never invents an answer is tempted to refuse too often, so we measure that too.

Choose the stack when
- You already pay for Notion Business and every transcript already lands there.
- You have fewer than ten interviews and re-read them anyway.
- You need PRDs, tickets and interviews in the same conversation, and a page-level citation is enough.
Choose Qualfy when
- The bottleneck is getting the call to happen — “one to two weeks” and “two hours a day” is what our research heard.
- You want the transcript queryable minutes after the call, with no one moving a file.
- You want an answer you can forward without re-reading the transcript — cited to the moment, or an honest no.
You can use both
Keep Notion for the specs and Claude for everything else. Qualfy's MCP server puts your interviews inside Claude, cited to the moment, and recordings are downloadable on every plan. Run the interviews here, so the folder fills itself.
Every Notion and Claude claim on this page was checked on September 15, 2026 against Notion's own pricing page and help center, and Anthropic's pricing page, Projects help article and citations documentation. Products change — if something here is out of date or unfair, tell us and we'll correct it.
