Questions about plans
- What counts as an interview?
- One conversation that lands in your research corpus — whether Qualfy's notetaker recorded it or you uploaded a transcript from somewhere else. Both consume one credit from the same pool.
- What happens when I reach the limit?
- Bookings keep working. Only new recordings and uploads pause, so a participant who clicks your link never hits a wall you didn't tell them about.
- Is the free plan a trial?
- No — there's no clock on it. Free includes 3 interviews total rather than per month, which is enough to prove the loop works end to end: recruit someone, record the call, and ask your research a question that comes back cited.
- What happens to my research if I downgrade?
- Nothing. Your interviews, transcripts, and recordings stay available on every plan including free, and exports are always free: recordings and transcripts stay downloadable. Downgrading changes how many seats and projects are active, never what you already have. Theme analysis is a Team feature, so it pauses on Free and returns when you upgrade; your themes are kept. Nothing is deleted. White-label emails are a Growth feature, so the 'Powered by Qualfy' footer returns on participant emails when a Growth subscription ends.
- What happens to my team and projects if I downgrade?
- You choose which seats and projects stay active on the new plan. The rest are paused, not deleted: paused teammates lose sign-in until you reactivate them, paused projects stop showing the popup and taking new bookings, and interviews already booked still happen. Everything is one click to reactivate when you upgrade.
- Do white-label emails send from my domain?
- Not yet. Email is always delivered from a Qualfy address; white-label changes the From name and removes the Powered-by footer. A custom sending domain isn't available yet.
- Do I need a developer?
- No. Share a booking link or email your participant list and you can run interviews today with no code. The in-app popup is one script tag, added when you want recruiting to run continuously inside your product.
